Shades are measured by top diameter, bottom diameter, and side length (TxBxS)

We would need a picture of the table lamp and/or floor lamp that you wish the shade to fit. We would also need the size shade you would like, as well as the type of fabric and/or paper you desire.

Shades are costly to ship, due to the double-boxing and insurance needed to help ensure intact delivery.

Every lamp is capable of utilizing different styles, as well as 2-3 different sizes of each style.

30% of our shades are American made.

The top wire spokes (spider) of any shade are polished brass unless special ordered in silver or white.

Many cloths and papers are available. Also, you can supply your own material to be used on their frames.

There are two main ways to make shades. One type is called Soft back, the other is Hard back. Soft back shades are hand sewn with cloth inside and out. Soft back shades are labor intensive and cost more. Extra care is needed to give this type of shade a longer life. Hard back shades are lamenated to white styrene, a type of plastic. Hard back shades are less expensive and because the interior is styrene, the shades usually last longer.
